Maureen Heuring-Appel is a sixteen year veteran in the publishing and graphic design fields. Maureen spent eight years as editor and managing editor for Saludos Hispanos Magazine. She has been a graphic designer for more than 12 years, both in-house commercial design positions and as a freelance designer.
Chris Martin has been a graphic designer for over sixteen years, including four years as art director for San Francisco Frontiers Newsmagazine, two years designing Next Magazine for The Desert Sun Newspaper, a year as art director for the Desert Post Weekly and two years as art director for The Bottom Line Magazine. He also operated a successful freelance graphic design company for several years prior to forming Appel-Martin Graphic Design.
